Steel Programmer

About the role:

We're looking for an experienced Programmer to join our structural steel team. In this role, you'll prepare and program steel components for fabrication, ensuring drawings, nesting, and machine programs are accurate and ready for production.

What you will be responsible for:

• Programming structural steel components for fabrication
• Creating and optimising nests for CNC machinery
• Interpreting engineering and fabrication drawings
• Reviewing drawings and specifications for accuracy
• Liaising with stakeholders to resolve technical issues
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation

• Lineal programming experience (essential)
• Experience with Raptor or Disx
• Strong understanding of steel fabrication processes
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and workshop drawings
• Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
