Steward (Dishwasher)

 Gravity Haus is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Kitchen Steward. The ideal candidate maintains a positive attitude and is driven to provide outstanding customer experiences.

• Ability to operate and learn to maintain and properly clean kitchen equipment: deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, flat top grill.  
• You have an appreciation for and commitment to the outdoors, sustainability, and your own personal growth.
• Authorized to work in the US for any employer

What You’ll Do

• Wash dishes and ensure cleanliness of work stations 
• Cleaning and inspecting kitchens and food service areas and ensuring a neat, clean, and organized work area throughout and following service.
• Communicating with cooks, managers regarding needs, maintenance issues.
• Ensure the consistent execution of service standards.
• Provide a genuine and elevated guest experience with a community focus, sustainable approach and driven attitude. 
• Assist with kitchen prep and other set up duties. 
• Occasionally bus tables and ensure cleanliness of dining area.
• All other duties as assigned by the executive chef, back, and front of house managers

Requirements

Education and Experience

• 1 year food & beverage experience preferred 

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly perform motions such as lifting, pushing and pulling, bending
• Ability to perform at 80% mobility during the shift and 10% continuous standing
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
