Store Manager – Pimpama

An exciting opportunity has presented for a dynamic and results-driven, self-motivated Retail Store Manager to join our evolving team and portfolio of stores. The successful candidate will be based in our brand-new state of the art show room at Pimpama.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our store is a welcoming and inclusive environment for all customers. They will be responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, and ensuring that our team is providing exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a high performing sales team whilst building brand awareness within the community and developing relationships with local businesses.

Through excellent retailing the Retail Store Manager will always be looking at new ways to improve the business and our team by disrupting the norm and doing things differently from our competitors. 

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a high performing team aligned to our company values. 
• Build the Betta brand to own 10% of the appliance market within our territory. 
• Seek new business relationships with referral customers such as architects, builders, cabinet makers/kitchen builders, hotel groups, restaurants/bars, retirement villages, Schools, and other commercial accounts.
• Maintain and strengthen existing relationships with local sporting clubs and sponsorship relationships.
• Collaborate with the sales teams to develop and implement campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate new leads.
• Monitor and analyse market trends, identify business opportunities, and recommend strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Attend networking events, local community events, and conferences to promote our brand and build relationships with potential partners and customers.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the store, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve people performance, customer service, and brand awareness.
• Hire, train, and manage a team of sales associates.
• Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times.
• Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
• Create and implement marketing campaigns to drive sales and build brand awareness.
• Ensure that all employees are adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Self-motivated and driven to succeed.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyse sales data and identify trends.
• Experience in inventory management and merchandising.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Passionate about retail and working with people.
• High attention to detail with excellent organisation skills.
• Excellent customer service and customer follow up skills.
• Experience in appliance sales or related industries.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and building successful business relationships.
• Knowledge of market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities.
• Willingness to travel and work outside of normal business hours as required.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
