We are seeking a motivated Store Manager to oversee all aspects of the Denman IGA  store. This delightful country town, home to over 1500 residents. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and managing a successful team, this is the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

• Oversee and lead a team of retail staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to motivate and engage team members.
• Set clear expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance performance.

Operational Excellence:

• Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the supermarket, including inventory management, ordering, merchandising, and pricing.
• Monitor and maintain store standards, cleanliness, and organization to create an inviting shopping environment.
• Implement effective loss prevention measures and promote workplace safety.

Customer Service:

• Uphold a customer-centric approach, ensuring exceptional service standards are met.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience 

Sales and Financial Management:

• Drive sales growth by analysing sales data, identifying trends, and implementing effective strategies.
• Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and profitability targets.
• Develop and execute promotional activities to increase store traffic and maximize revenue.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or in a similar retail leadership role.
• Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of supermarket operations, merchandising, and inventory management.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
• Proficiency in using retail management software and computer systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make effective decisions.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as required.
• You must be legally compliant to work in Australia.
