The Hammersley Group is seeking a Storeman to join our team. 

The Role

• Provide assistance and support to the Factory Manager for all factory operations.
• Receive, check, document and store materials and packaging products.
• Picking and packing of orders.
• Forklift operation.
• Operation of the bottling/ fill off machines and labelling machines.
• Perform general cleaning duties of work area and common areas. 
• Load, unload, and sort product packaging.
• Inventory management and regular stock take of finished goods.
• Safe and responsible use of hand trolleys and forklift.
• Opportunity to learn manufacturing procedures for the right candidate.

About You

• A forklift ticket is required
• Drivers license and reliable transport is required
• Storeman experience in a warehouse is considered an advantage but not essential. 
• Able to work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail skills
• Strong communication skills
• Takes pride in all aspects of work
• Physically fit for some heavy lifting and manual handling work.
• New to the industry? Consider gaining on the job training and a nationally recognised qualification with a Certificate 3 in Supply Chain Operations (Warehousing Operations) to kick start your career.
