Storeman – Joinery

Reporting to the Foreman/Production Manager

Burke & Wills Joinery is looking for a dependable and motivated Store person to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work in a well-organised, professional environment where teamwork, safety and respect are genuinely valued.

The role

You will play a key part in supporting our joinery operations by managing materials, maintaining stock accuracy and ensuring production teams have what they need to deliver quality work.

Key responsibilities

Receive, check and store incoming materials and hardware

Maintain accurate stock and inventory records

Issue materials to production, assembly and installation teams

Keep warehouse and storage areas organised, safe and efficient

Follow WHS procedures and safety requirements to the highest standard

Assist with packing, loading and unloading deliveries

Operate forklifts and handling equipment safely

Report stock shortages, damages or discrepancies promptly

Work closely with production to support project timelines

Skills & experience

Previous experience as a store person, warehouse assistant or in joinery/manufacturing preferred

Strong communications skills, demonstrate reliability, punctuality and a proactive can-do approach to work

Basic computer skills for stock and inventory systems

Strong organisation and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Good understanding of workplace safety practices

Licences & requirements

Manual driver’s licence

Forklift licence

White Card
