The Opportunity

Come and discover the opportunity to join our Bunbury team in our Fielders business as a Storeperson. With a proud history, Fielders manufactures and markets steel building products across Australia. We deliver customer-inspired outcomes that support architects, engineers, builders, installers and property owners in creating their vision.

The storeperson supports our branch operations in ensuring our products and solutions are delivered in a safe and timely manner for our customers. In this customer facing role we are looking for someone who wants to learn and is a team player. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of the role allowing for future career development opportunities.

Working Monday to Friday, this is a permanent full-time role and shift commences at 7am to 3pm.

What Will You Do?

In this role, working with your team, you will receive ongoing training and support to learn to:

• safely loading and unloading our products on and off trucks   
• accurately pick and pack orders to prepare for customer collection
• locating and organising the storage of products
• checking picked orders, invoicing and branch transfers
• general filing of receipts and invoices
• Data entry of customer orders
• housekeeping and maintenance of the warehouse area
• assist the Warehouse Manager with periodic stock checks
• successfully contribute to a safe working environment

Being a reliable and dedicated individual with a willingness to learn and develop yourself, you will also bring: 

• a current forklift ticket and experience within a similar environment
• a positive attitude and a desire to work in a role that offers career progression
• a keen eye for detail and basic computer skills
• the ability to work in a fast-paced and environment
• continuous improvement focused and a desire to develop and improve procedures
