We currently have a vacancy for a store person within our growing warehouse team. The warehouse is currently based in Herston but will be relocating to Carol Park in the next 2-3 months.

The role is a full-time position, working Monday - Friday. The salary offered is $65-70k plus superannuation, depending on experience.

Role

Working in a small team and reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, the role will involve:

lifting and manual handling of stock;
dispatch of orders including picking, packing and assembly of products;
goods receivable duties;
operating a forklift;
processing sales orders in a computer system;
determining freight costs for sales orders dispatch;
creating consignments and booking freight pick ups in a computer system; and
maintaining an organised and clean warehouse at all times.

Candidate

The successful applicant will have.

a positive and friendly personality with a can-do attitude,
attention to detail,
good computer skills, and
excellent organisational skills to ensure that the warehouse and paperwork is managed in an efficient manner.

A forklift license and some warehousing experience is desirable, and a forklift license will need to be obtained by the successful candidate if they do not have one already.
