The Strategic Sales Director will develop and implement sales strategies, pursue new business opportunities, build key client relationships, and collaborate with Marketing and Product teams. Leading a sales team and carrying a personal quota, this role aims to meet or exceed sales targets. Reporting to the VP Global Sales, the position focuses on growth, scalability, team development, and performance measurement.

The ideal candidate will have a successful technology sales background, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive revenue growth with high-value clients. Strong leadership, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of the hotel technology landscape are essential.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed new revenue targets
  • Lead, mentor, manage and grow a team of strategic sales professionals, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the team meets or exceeds sales goals.
  • Identify and pursue network opportunities, building strong relationships with key influencers in target organizations
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from cold prospecting to closing deals, ensuring a consultative sales approach that addresses client needs and delivers value
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to continuously refine sales strategies and identify opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to potential clients
  • Monitor and report on sales metrics, providing regular updates and forecasts to management and adjusting strategies as needed to achieve growth and efficiency targets
  • Represent the compan y at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Optimize pricing in line with pricing strategy, contractual terms, and payment options
  • Communicate with the Product team to advocate for clients’ needs and ensure alignment with industry trends
  • Collaborate with Marketing on mid market strategies to increase qualified leads and brand visibility
  • Collaborate with customer success teams to align strategies and ensure a seamless customer experience for your accounts

  • Deep product and industry knowledge making you a trusted advisor to your team and clients alike
  • A servant leader mentality with a proven track record of building high-performing sales teams in the hospitality technology industry
  • Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding personal sales targets.
  • Demonstrable track record working closely with other departments such as Marketing, Product and Customer Success
  • Expertise in analyzing market trends, optimizing pricing and contractual terms.
  • Experience in developing and delivering sales training programs.
  • Focus on continuous improvement of sales processes and team performance.
  • Skilled in monitoring and communicating sales activities and KPIs.
  • Accurate revenue forecasting and relentless focus on attainment.
