The Impact You’ll Make; We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Structural Engineer to manage and deliver selected design work or components of design, ensuring adherence to budget, quality, and DIFOT (Delivery in Full, On Time) targets. This role also offers the opportunity to gain the necessary knowledge and practical skills through on-the-job learning to achieve Chartered Engineer status.

Please note that we are seeking to hire for this position either in Australia, specifically Melbourne, Victoria, or in Auckland, New Zealand.

About You;

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality design solutions within allocated timeframes and in accordance with building codes and standards. Meet DIFOT requirements.
• Prepare designs, specifications, reports, and other project documentation in line with segment and customer requirements as well as Quality Assurance guidelines.
• Evaluate customer and partner needs, develop application (design) proposals, and manage project delivery requirements, including providing specification technical advice and design work.
• Liaise with customers, builders, engineers, and other stakeholders as required.
• Present regular updates to customers and performance metrics, aligning with segment business targets and strategies.
• Acquire, reinforce, and expand knowledge in structural design under the guidance and mentoring of senior engineers.
• Manage and deliver selected project work and internal technical activities as set by the manager.
• Perform structural site inspections as needed by customers and partners and prepare technical reports.
  

Other Qualifications/Requirements:

• Qualified Engineer (BEng Civil/Structural) recognised by the Institute of Engineers Australia or Engineering New Zealand
• Commercial construction experience – highly regarded
