Student Insights Researcher - 12 month contract

At Online Education Services (OES), we’re looking for a Student Insights Researcher who’s ready to dive deep into students experiences, behaviours and requirements to help improve our products and services.

Through your work you will help shape decisions which directly impact our student experience.

This role is for a 12 month contract

About the Role

• Based on an understanding of business and project requirements, promote the appropriate use of research to stakeholders across the business 

• Determine and provide expert guidance on appropriate research approaches to use to gain a greater understanding of students or the impact of initiatives on students  

• Execution of research projects making use of internal and external resources and delivering research within allocated budget 

• Communicate findings and facilitate discussions with key stakeholders on the insights from research to provide direction for decisions 

• Promote the value of research with teams across the business to bring the student perspective to decision making 

About You

• Experience in social or market research which focuses around customer or ideally student behaviour 

• Relevant tertiary qualifications, eg psychology, social science, marketing or other research related discipline, or professional experience 

• Ability to conduct and analyse both quantitative and qualitative research (e.g. surveys, interviews, focus groups, workshops). 

• Synthesise insights from the literature 

• Excellent organisational and project management skills, including the ability to set priorities, manage time, and plan work to meet deadlines independently. 

• Manage research tasks across several projects and deliver high quality results within timeframes 

• Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal and communication skills
