The Opportunity

At Komatsu, we're looking for an experienced Resident Service Supervisor to lead a team of Resident Field Service Technicians supporting our customers across Brisbane and the Western Downs. This is your opportunity to combine your technical expertise, leadership skills, and customer focus to deliver exceptional service while developing a high-performing team.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading and coordinating a team of Resident Field Service Technicians and apprentices.


• Planning workloads and allocating resources to maximise utilisation and customer outcomes.


• Managing service WIP, warranty work, labour recoveries, and workflow.


• Coaching and developing technicians while maintaining a strong safety culture.


• Building strong customer relationships and resolving issues professionally.


• Driving operational performance, quality, and continuous improvement.

What we are looking for:

You'll be an experienced service leader with a trade background and a passion for developing people and delivering outstanding customer service.

You'll bring:

• Experience leading field service or workshop teams.


• Exceptional customer service skills with a strong customer focus.


• A trade qualification (Diesel Fitter or similar highly regarded).


• Strong planning, communication, and customer relationship skills.


• Experience managing workflow, WIP, and technician utilisation.


• A proactive leadership style focused on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.


• Willingness to travel as required.


• Flexibility to be on call.
