We are on the lookout for an analytical Supply Chain Administrator to join our incredible team at AUSTECH INDUSTRIES PTY LTD in Acacia Ridge, Brisbane QLD.

Austech Industries is a rapidly expanding multinational importer and exporter of high quality, hand, air and cordless tools. Our product range extends to compressors, generators and other engine powered equipment.

 

We are looking for a friendly and dynamic Office Administrator who is self-motivated, and enthusiastic to work within a team environment to join our Acacia Ridge Head Office on a permanent, full-time basis.  

 

This role will see you assisting and supporting the Purchasing Manager with administrative tasks. It is a pivotal role for the Branch and requires an ability to co-ordinate several tasks simultaneously and liaise with all levels of colleagues and international suppliers and customers.

  

Primary duties will include.

  • Communication with International suppliers, Customers 
  • Manage Purchase Orders (POs) and vendor setup/maintenance.
  • Follow up on overdue orders and update changes as necessary
  • Reporting any significant PO changes that may impact the business 
  • Data entry and general administration duties. 

Key skills and attributes

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and keen attention to detail. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Positive attitude to learning new skills.
  • Happy to work within a team and also autonomously.
  • Data entry and general administration duties. 

Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:

  • Have a strong phone manner, customer service background.
  • Be well presented, enthusiastic, punctual, reliable and have a good attendance record.
  • Be motivated and have a positive attitude.
  • Ability to follow instructions but also use initiative where necessary.
  • A 'People Person' with great customer and communication skills
  • Confident and friendly communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Mature approach to working within an office environment

 

Employment Conditions

You will be based at our Head Office facility in Acacia Ridge,   this is a full-time opportunity.  Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm 

 
The successful applicant will be provided with on-the-job training.
