  • Ongoing Full-Time opportunity

  • Location: 50% office attendance required at Parramatta office / Flexible working arrangements

  • Competitive remuneration ranging from $84,659 to $92,701 plus super & annual leave loading


 


About the role


The Support Officer- Programs role sits within the Early Childhood Outcomes (ECO) division and involves providing administrative and coordination support to facilitate the successful delivery of early learning workforce programs and initiatives. The responsibilities include:


 



  • Preparing documentation, reports, and communications to support decision-making and information sharing.

  • Assessing high volume applications, forms and documentation in line with program procedures and guidelines to inform consistent and fair outcomes.

  • Maintaining accurate records, databases, and program information using relevant systems and technologies.

  • Processing routine financial transactions in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.

  • Responding to enquiries and escalate issues as required to ensure timely and accurate information is provided.

About you



  • Strong organisational skills to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Ability to manage various administrative tasks with attention to detail

  • Understanding of or experience in higher education provider practices

  • Understanding of or experience in grants administration

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.


 


Essential requirements of the role



  • A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment. 

  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
