Support Older Adults Through Movement & Connection 

Join our Physio Team to support the weekly exercise group, where movement, fun, and connection come together. Bring your enthusiasm and positive energy as you help guide residents through gentle, enjoyable exercises that keep them active and engaged.

Whether your background is in fitness, dance, yoga, physio, or Pilates, or you simply love encouraging others to move, your contribution will be truly valued.

By taking part, you’ll help older residents maintain their mobility, boost their wellbeing, and enjoy every moment — all while having fun together. 

Your impact

Volunteering can be a rewarding experience, both for the people you interact with as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Friday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.

18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check •
