Support Person (Personal Assistant) - Growth-Minded Organization

My Place is a values-based organisation that supports people with disabilities in pursuing the lifestyle of their choice.

 We are seeking reliable, motivated women to provide periods of support for a woman who lives in her own home in the Burswood area. She requires support to clean and maintain her flat as well as attending appointments. She loves animals and is seeking to enter the animal care industry for her career. She loves the outdoors and likes to go for walks in the bush. She is looking to improve her fitness so someone to exercise with would be a plus.

 If you are enthusiastic, able to work autonomously, friendly and interested in enabling a young woman to live a happy, independent life, we would like to hear from you! 

 The role consists of daily living, role modelling, employment support and social and community support.  Training will be provided for non-experienced applicants with the right values and attitude. We are currently looking for 4 hours on a Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, the timing of shifts is still flexible at this stage but may for example be 10 am - 2 pm or 2pm – 6pm .

 You will need a driver's license, your own vehicle, and a willingness to complete the following: 

• NDIS Worker Screening
• NDIS Worker Orientation module
• A medical (upon employment)
