Currently participant requires someone on Sundays for 5 hours.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to care for a participant in Doonside.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Care for intellectual disabilities such as autism
• Support aged care, NDIS and mental health clients
• Supporting people with daily living needs such as showering, light household cleaning, companionship, meal preparation, shopping and transportation to appointments
• Home caring visit to the clients homes to provide one on one care
• Participant loves Footy (Storms) V8 Cars, and Speedway Racing (Lockie McHugh) - essential the candidate applying loves these as well to engage in common interest with the participant.
• Mature male candidates encouraged to apply: 35-50 years due to participants needs.

Skills and Experience

• NDIS worker screening clearance
• First Aid and CPR certificate
• Working With Children Check
• Current Driver’s License (P1 or above) and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
• Industry related qualification
• Experience with intellectual disabilities such as autism desirable but not essential

Benefits and perks

• Casual rate or between $32.00ph and $37.00per hour depending on experience
