Support Worker - Moorabbin and Surrounding Areas

Your Responsibilities
As a Support Worker with Morcare, you will assist clients with the following tasks:

• Community Access - assisting clients out in the community such as Shopping assistance, going to the Cafe, Gym Programs, Hydrotherapy and day programs
• Domestic duties - maintaining household cleanliness, vacuuming, mopping and laundry.
• Personal care activities including showering, dressing and toileting
• Supporting clients within their own homes and out in the community
• Meal assistance and preparation.

Shift Locations: Moorabbin, Aspendale Gardens, Parkdale, Clayton and Surrounding Areas

Shift Times:       
We have multiple positions vacant for Support Workers that availability to support Clients with Day Support and/or Sleepover Support.

Shift times:

• Moorabbin: Monday - Sunday 7:30am - 9:30am and 1:30pm - 3:30pm shifts.
• Parkdale: Friday Afternoon shifts for 6hrs.
• Aspendale Gardens: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday Sleepover Support. Shifts commence at 5:00pm and finish at 7:00am the following day.

Qualifications:
A Certificate or qualification that relates to Support Workers duties is preferred, but not required. We consider transferable skills and personal experience as part of your application. If you don't have experience as a Support Worker, consider joining Morcare and be supported to deliver quality care to clients!

Your Requirements:

• Full Australian drivers license
• Comprehensive Car Insurance
• A reliable car to attend shifts or transport clients
• Current Level 2 First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain
• Certificate or qualification related to Support Worker duties (preferred but not essential)
• 3x Doses of COVID-19 Vaccination (2x Primary Course + 1x Booster)
• International Police Check (if required)
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Reliable and Punctual
• Caring nature and ability to understand clients and their needs
