Job no: 868343 Work type: Full time Location: Adelaide CBD Categories: Nursing/Midwifery Central Adelaide Local Health Network, AdelaideSalary RN-4 $128,327 - $133,758Permanent full-time About the roleIn the course of fulfilling the role of Advanced Nurse Consultant, Level 4, Nurse at this level, use their clinical knowledge and experience to ensure consistency and standardisation of clinical practice across all nursing areas within the surgical program. The Advanced Nurse Consultant participates in nursing policy, procedure development and implementation and facilitates the development and implementation of a clinical governance framework for the nursing service. This role initiates and evaluates research related to the provision of nursing care and acts as a consultant on quality improvement. The Advanced Nurse Consultant provides a corporate support service to nursing practice and services in areas such as accreditation and risk management processes and information systems management.Employees classified at this level, provide clinical nursing expertise for specified individual patients/ clients and/or groups and/or patient/ client populations.
