Our solutions are very focused on secure outcomes through cloud based systems such as Microsoft Intune/Entra and JumpCloud/Jamf. We will only work with clients that are willing to modernise and automate their IT infrastructure by moving to the cloud. We also cover areas like governance, website, cloud and IT vulnerability management with a view to also developing our AI capabilities in Co-Pilot.

The Opportunity:

Ever wanted to start a business but didn’t have the risk appetite? We are seeking an individual who wants an opportunity to be a shareholder in a business, grow a team and enjoy all the benefits that entails. This role would varied to begin however narrowing in the direction of your choosing as the business grows. The initial role will be encompassing system administration (patching, security, incident response), on-boarding new clients, ensuring clients move towards compliance, and being an escalation point for level 2 engineers with a dash of service delivery. You will be getting your hands dirty across the modern Microsoft tech stacks, vulnerability management, compliance and networking.

You will be working closely with the author and founder who has worked in the cyber-security and MSP space with a successful background in sales, marketing, and start-ups. There are several exciting clients in technology, professional services and not for profits to sink your teeth into.

This role is ultimately open to an individual who might not fit the role 100% but has over 3-5 years in level 3/Sys admin/Project engineer and is ready to take the leap.

What we’d love you to bring to Kavira:

• Communication skills
• Passion for cyber-security (knowledge of NIST or CIS Controls favorable)
• Passion for the little guy, in this case Small to medium businesses and NFP’s.
• You live and breathe the Microsoft Modern Workplace Tech Stack (ADD/Entra, Intune, Defender for Endpoint).
• Understanding of MAC device management and Google workspace.
• Basic networking skills
• Basic understanding of Azure/AWS.
• Passion for Automation
• Communication and empathy
• Some idea of managed services or experience in an MSP/MSSP
• Experience mentoring and leading teams or desire to learn.
• Basic understanding of cloud, networks and/or servers.
