Seeking Experienced Systems Accountant for 3-Month Contract

We are on the lookout for a proficient Systems Accountant to assist a global client on a short-term, 6-month contract with a potential for extension. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Systems Accountant  to demonstrate their skills and make a tangible impact to an organisation undergoing exciting change and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• System Reconciliations: Conduct regular checks to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Master Data Maintenance: Manage and update master data and user profiles within the finance systems.
• Interface Management: Oversee the interfaces between various accounting systems and resolve any errors.
• Project Support: Assist with system updates, enhancements, and new business setups.
• Issue Resolution: Investigate and address issues reported by users of the finance system.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to continuously improve finance systems and processes.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Systems Accountant or in a similar role.
• Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial functions, procedures, and processes.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in financial systems such as Workday Adaptive Insights.
• Project Experience: Experience in project environments is advantageous.
• Software Skills: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
• Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Team and Independent Work: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
• Communication: Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex information effectively.
