Systems Admin - Network (Safety & Asset)

In this role, you'll:

The role is responsible for operating, monitoring and maintaining ICT server and cloud environments to ensure secure, reliable and high performing services, including resolving complex technical issues and proactively preventing outages. 

It focuses on reducing operational risk and improving system availability by implementing robust access controls, monitoring, recovery processes and well documented operational procedures that ensure continuity of service. 

The role also evaluates and improves systems and technologies by assessing new hardware, software, cloud and automation solutions, analysing operational and incident data, and making recommendations that enhance performance, sustainability and alignment with business needs.

About you

The role provides hands on systems and network administration support, including administering Windows, Linux, and database environments while ensuring applications and infrastructure remain stable and operational. 

It involves identifying, defining, and troubleshooting network issues, responding to incidents, and liaising with technical teams to finalise change requests such as network renumbering. 

The role applies strong operational experience to resolve issues end to end, with network certification considered desirable.
