A leading organisation delivering advanced, high-assurance technology solutions is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator with DevOps capability to join a specialist engineering team. Operating within a secure environment, this organisation provides exposure to highly complex, enterprise-scale systems supporting a next-generation program. You will work within a collaborative, technically strong team under the Engineering Manager - Cyber & Secure Networks.

Your new role
In this exciting new role, you will be:

Administering Windows Server environments and supporting secure infrastructure platforms.

Managing virtualisation and storage platforms (VMware, Pure Storage preferred).

Supporting containerised environments using Kubernetes and Docker.

Contributing to system automation through Ansible or PowerShell scripting.

Supporting application and data migration into target-state environments.

Monitoring system performance, capacity planning and optimisation.

Managing identity services (Active Directory, MFA, Group Policy).

Supporting backup, recovery and disaster recovery processes.

Troubleshooting complex issues in security-focused systems.

Collaborating with architecture, network, and cyber security teams on design and delivery.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your application, you will need:

• Strong experience administering enterprise Windows Server environments.
• Proven experience with VMware and enterprise storage platforms (Pure Storage highly regarded).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production environments.
• Experience scripting and automation using PowerShell or Ansible.
• Knowledge of identity and access management (Active Directory, MFA, GPO).
• Strong problem-solving capabilities within secure or high-assurance environments.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and work collaboratively in agile teams.
• Exposure to DevOps / DevSecOps tooling and practices.
• Australian Citizenship and a minimum of NV1 Security clearance (NV2 preferred) are essential.
