Systems Analyst

Position Overview: 

YNA is an entity within the Torrens Health group and is 100% South Australian owned and managed. We provide staff and technical support solutions in the health sector, nationally. 

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a System Analyst.

In this role, you will be analysing, designing, and implementing information systems that meet our business needs with a particular focus on data analysis. 

You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, develop technical specifications, reporting tools, and ensure the smooth integration of new systems. 

Additionally, you will utilise your IT knowledge to ensure that our practices align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.   

This position is located in Adelaide and the successful candidate will have at least five years of recent experience in systems analysis and database reporting.  

Experience with Power BI, MS SQL, is essential and experience with YNA Online highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Analyse and evaluate current systems and identify areas for improvement. 
• Design and develop new system functionalities and reports based on business requirements. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document system requirements. 
• Develop technical specifications and system documentation. 
• Test and debug new systems, reports, and enhancements. 
• Ensure system security and data integrity. 
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. 

Qualifications and Experience: 

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 
• Proven experience as a System Analyst or similar role. 
• Strong understanding of system architecture and design. 
• Proficiency in system analysis and design methodologies. 
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Knowledge of current technologies and trends in information systems. 

Desirable Skills: 

• Post Graduate qualifications in project management, data analysis or related fields. 
• Experience with database management systems in particular MS SQL. 
• Familiarity with project management methodologies. 
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC). 
• Experience with specific technologies used in our company (YNA Online, PowerBI).
