Systems Architect - Data Warehousing & Reporting (Azure)
Do you have a passion for data and a knack for building robust, scalable solutions? Are you an Azure cloud expert with a deep understanding of data warehousing and reporting? About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Architect to play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing data warehousing, data migration, and reporting solutions. You will leverage your advanced knowledge of systems and data alongside your expertise in Azure cloud technologies to deliver solutions that support informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement data warehousing solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
- Develop and implement data migration strategies to populate data warehouses.
- Design and develop reporting solutions that provide users with actionable insights.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Establish project plans and work programs to bring in-house the processing of VPDC submission files from health services.
- Validate data against quality checks defined in the VPDC manual and ensure adherence to business rules.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in data warehousing, data migration, and reporting.
- Document technical designs, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Systems Architect or a related role.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing data warehousing solutions on cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
- Strong understanding of data migration processes and technologies.
- Expertise in developing reports and dashboards using BI tools.
- Excellent knowledge of SQL and database design principles.
- In-depth experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Experience working with healthcare data (a plus).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
