What You'll Do: As a Systems Backup Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our client's data assets by implementing and maintaining robust backup and restore strategies. Here's what your responsibilities will entail:

• Design and implement tailored backup and restore strategies to ensure data protection and recovery.
• Configure and maintain backup software components for optimal performance.
• Monitor backup jobs, promptly resolving issues to maintain data consistency.
• Execute regular backups according to defined schedules and compliance requirements.
• Conduct routine tests and audits to verify data integrity and recoverability.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate backup solutions seamlessly and provide technical support for inquiries or incidents.
  
  

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience as a Backup Administrator or similar role, demonstrating proficiency in backup and restore strategies.
• In-depth knowledge of backup software solutions and technologies, such as Veritas NetBackup, Veeam, or Commvault.
• Familiarity with storage systems, data replication, and disaster recovery principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot backup-related issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, enabling effective interaction with cross-functional teams.
• A proactive mindset with a keen attention to detail, ensuring the reliability and integrity of backup systems.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Backup and Recovery Engineer) would be advantageous.
