Your new role
As a Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting and optimising the organisation's IT infrastructure. You'll be responsible for maintaining server environments, managing virtualisation platforms, and ensuring the performance, security, and reliability of systems.
This is a hands-on position where you will provide Level 3 support, contribute to infrastructure projects, and work closely with internal teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality technology outcomes.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in a Systems Engineer or Senior Systems Administrator role
• Strong expertise across Windows Server environments and infrastructure management
• Hands-on experience with VMware virtualisation technologies
• Solid exposure to Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) and Azure
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g. Veeam or similar)
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to manage complex technical issues
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to balance BAU support with project delivery
