The Role

We have an immediate opportunity for a Systems Engineering Consultant in Victoria. We are seeking a client focused professional with demonstrable experience in the transport sector to provide immediate support to transport infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be part of the functional multi-disciplined consulting team.

Specifically, the role will include:

• Provision of specialist Systems Engineering services to a variety of clients on complex, multi-disciplinary projects and programmes within the Transport sector. 
• Delivering support to Tactix Sener clients throughout the capability lifecycle.
• Development of Systems Engineering solutions and methodologies for complex problems.
• Development of Systems Engineering documentation such as System Engineering Management Plans, Requirement Management Plans, Verification and Validation Plans and Concepts of Operations.
• Supporting the growth of the Systems Engineering capability through the identification and management of new & existing client relationships, agreed partners and the development of the internal team.

About You

You are interested in and passionate about the integration of Systems Engineering principles and processes into the delivery of complex systems. You can bring your experience of large-scale projects and industry leading edge industry tools and processes. You think strategically and work collaboratively to ensure that Systems Engineering practices and processes are developed and managed across the project lifecycle to the benefit of our clients.

To be considered you will also:

• Have a tertiary qualification in Engineering with 3+ years post graduate experience. 
• Show an evident problem solving and client facing mindset that is able to identify novel technical and operational solutions and consult with external/internal stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes.
• Have experience in developing Systems Engineering methodologies across project lifecycles.
• Have experience of producing and reviewing Systems Engineering documentation and awareness of Systems Engineering modelling techniques and tools.
