Join a dynamic team at an innovative Managed Service Provider, offering a unique opportunity for a Systems/Cloud Architect with pre-sales experience. This is a permanent position based near the Sydney CBD and provides a flexible working environment that allows you to work from home up to 3 days a week.

Your new role

As a Senior Technical Consultant, your main role involves designing and developing cloud-based architecture solutions. You'll apply your expertise in Microsoft Windows, Linux, networking, virtualization, and systems security to meet both technical and business requirements for clients and our internal private cloud. Additionally, you'll handle escalations from the Service Desk and provide technical guidance to Level 1 and 2 Technical Consultants.

What you'll need to succeed

• Experienced in the IT industry with at least 3 years in a Pre-sales role, preferably in the MSP space.
• Experience working on large engagements and creating complex technology solutions.
• Proficient in large and complex RFP responses, solution design, and articulating the value proposition of an overall solution.
• Experience with a broad range of vendors, such as Microsoft, VMware, Nutanix, Hyper-V, Cisco, IBM, Dell, Veeam, Rubrik, Palo Alto, and Fortigate.
• Knowledge or awareness of ISO 27001, ITIL, data protection, and privacy issues.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows and common applications.
• Solid understanding of Linux.
• Familiarity with the OSI model and its use in network design and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in computer networking for both single-tenant and multi-tenant secure environments.
• Experience designing and implementing effective systems and applications monitoring and alerting policies using technologies such as RMM and SNMP.
• Knowledgeable about cloud concepts (Public, Private, Hybrid & Multi), cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), service offerings (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), transformation, modern workplace technologies, networking and security concepts, cloud-based security concepts and services, and managed services offerings.
