The Role

Based in our Sydney office, you will join a Talent team responsible for lateral hiring across our Legal and Operations teams, while also delivering high-value strategic initiatives that continue to evolve the capability and impact of Talent Acquisition at G+T.

More specifically, you will:

• Own the end-to-end talent acquisition lifecycle, from role scoping and market strategy through to assessment, selection and offer.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing and attraction strategies to identify, engage and secure high-calibre talent across active and passive markets.
• Leverage data, insights and talent market intelligence to influence stakeholders and enable informed talent decisions.
• Build strategic talent pipelines and communities aligned to current and future workforce demand, using innovative sourcing and talent-mapping methodologies nationally.
• Lead national talent attraction and employer brand campaigns, from concept and content development through to activation across social and digital channels.
• Act as a trusted talent advisor, partnering with leaders and specialist teams to challenge thinking, shape strategy and deliver strong talent outcomes.
• Lead and contribute to strategic TA initiatives, including AI, automation, technology and process optimisation, to continuously evolve the capability and impact of the function.

About You

You are an experienced and commercially astute talent acquisition professional who brings curiosity, maturity and sound judgement to the way you operate. You are as comfortable interrogating data, challenging a brief or exploring new technology as you are engaging a difficult-to-reach candidate. You think beyond the immediate hire, ask good questions and are confident navigating complexity and influencing senior stakeholders to deliver better talent outcomes.

• Substantial end-to-end talent acquisition experience within legal, professional services or a complex corporate environment, ideally with an understanding of partnership-based organisations.
• Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, with a proven ability to identify and engage high-calibre talent in competitive, niche and difficult-to-access markets.
• Commercially minded and data-led, using talent intelligence, market insights and recruitment metrics to influence stakeholders and drive better decisions.
• A credible and sophisticated relationship builder, able to establish trust quickly, challenge constructively and operate confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
• Technologically curious and forward-thinking, with a genuine interest in GenAI, automation and how emerging technology can transform talent acquisition.
• A natural problem solver, comfortable navigating ambiguity, anticipating challenges and developing pragmatic solutions rather than simply following established processes.
• Highly organised and discerning, with strong judgement, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment.
• Curious, collaborative and ideas-driven, bringing fresh thinking, energy and a willingness to challenge the status quo while being an engaging and supportive colleague.

This position is offered as an initial 12-month contract.
