As a highly effective technology recruiter, you will contribute to business growth and development in a way few can. That means you will strive every day to deliver high quality outcomes, as you identify, engage and secure the right candidates.
Never one who solely relies on the “advertise and hope” approach of average performers, you will be an expert at:
- Consulting with the business, understanding the needs of hiring managers and partnering with them to recruit the talent they need to meet client demand.
- Applying effective ‘go to market’ strategies that include effective search and a broad range of candidate identification, attraction and engagement methods.
- Delivering pre-assessed shortlists of qualified top talent to fill roles, not just lists of applicants for managers to filter.
- Applying your outstanding candidate engagement, management and negotiation skills, as you walk candidates through the recruitment and offer acceptance process.
- Building out talent pipelines to proactively fill emerging business demand.
- Becoming a highly respected trusted advisor to the business.
- Effectively leveraging recruitment tools (ATS, LinkedIn, Seek Talent search, socials, user groups, internal referral networks)
To that end, whether you come from an internal talent acquisition role or an external agency recruitment background, you will demonstrate considerable sustained success delivering results and a sound knowledge of the IT technology sector, including the skills and attributes of outstanding IT candidates by role type.
