Your Role
  
Joining an HR team of 7 to support 2000 employees across Australia, your role as Talent Acquisition Specialist will be to take ownership of the recruitment function nationally.

Reporting to the Head of HR and working with the support of an HR Administrator, your role will include:
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment for a high volume of roles (80-150 roles at any one time);
  • Undertaking shortlisting, screening, interviewing, pre-employment checks and advertising across various mediums;
  • Developing strong relationships with Centre Managers and hiring managers across the business to ensure recruitment processes are efficient and timely;
  • Supporting Centre Leadership Teams with best practice guidance and advice on all areas of recruitment and attraction including mentoring around interview techniques, job descriptions and assessing applicants;
  • Partnering with centres to undertake workforce planning and develop and implement talent attraction strategies;
  • Developing effective sourcing and selection strategies including proactively building talent pipelines, streamlining selection and shortlisting processes using automation where possible and actively promoting the Employee Value Proposition throughout all recruitment and attraction activities;
  • Identifying and recommending improved recruitment systems and processes;
  • Managing relationships and procurement processes with external agencies;
  • Providing reporting where required to the Head of HR on all recruitment activity such as recruitment and selection metrics, reports, charts, dashboards and presentations using data from various systems;
  • Working closely with the rest of the HR team to provide a high quality service to all centres, candidates and current employees.
  
This is a newly created role and a fabulous opportunity for someone looking to bring their expertise to building a well-oiled Talent function.
  
In the initial stages of your onboarding, there will be some intra- and inter-state travel required in order to build relationships with Centre Managers nationally. Thereafter, there will be minimal travel required.
  
About You
  
You will bring strong experience within internal recruitment in a high-volume capacity (up to 100 roles). Industry experience within the early education sector will be highly regarded however this is not essential and other beneficial sector experience includes aged care, NDIS and healthcare.

You must demonstrate a strong understanding of effective high-volume recruitment processes, ability to develop strong partnerships with your hiring managers and knowledge of best-practice and legislative requirements during a recruitment process.

A current Blue Card or ability to apply for one is required for this role, as are permanent working rights in Australia.
