Job Description - Tax & Business Services Accountant

The Role

Our client is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant who is eager to advance their career with a forward-thinking firm for the long term.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare BAS, financial statements and tax returns
Manage or assist with managing a portfolio of clients
Mentor junior accounts, manage workflow and review work
Undertake business advisory work (cashflow projections, strategic tax planning, structuring advice, succession planning)

Key Skills & Requirements:

3-5+ years public practice accounting experience is essential
CA or CPA qualified
Technical knowledge of Div7a, GST & Tax
Experienced with Business Advisory (tax planning. structuring & advice)
Knowledge of accounting software including Xero
Excellent attention to detail and financial acumen
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)

$80,000 $110,000 plus super
