THE OPPORTUNITY

The Faculty of Health Science, Community and Social Studies provides a progressive, innovative and supportive teaching environment with strong industry links. The department of Community and Social Studies is currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to effectively teach theoretical and practical sessions, to students in Diploma of Community Services.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful you will possess the following:

Relevant industry qualification and relevant/current industry experience for Community Services teachers this may include: relevant higher study in psychology, counselling, mental health, alcohol and other drugs or social work, experience as a counsellor, psychologist or social worker

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116); or

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110) including the units TAELLN411 & TAEASS502 or equivalent units; or

Higher level qualification which includes specific study in adult and vocational education

Previous experience in a teaching or training role preferred.
