Early Years Teacher - Full-time, Ongoing

St Elizabeth's Catholic Primary School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time, ongoing Early Years Teacher for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten starting in 2025.

St Elizabeth’s Catholic Primary School is a single-steam co-educational school, moving to double-stream catering for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six. The school is situated in a quiet bush setting in the City of Wanneroo, with beautiful gardens and well-maintained facilities. Teaching and integrating our school values of humility, compassion, service and charity into the student’s life and curriculum is a major focus at St Elizabeth’s. The development of strong, positive relationships between all members of our community and a strong academic standard is at the fore front of our work. The school enjoys a strong connection to the St Anthony’s of Padua Parish and the enthusiastic support of an active parent community.


Selection Criteria

• Be a practising Catholic and fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic Education.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated Early Years teaching team.
• Willingness to be a reflective member of a professional learning community.
• An enthusiastic, creative classroom teacher with a comprehensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards and West Australian Curriculum.
• Ability to differentiate the teaching and learning program to cater for a variety of student needs.
• A positive, enthusiastic and dynamic demeanour.
• High levels of skills in digital technologies and a commitment to use them as an integral part of the learning environment.
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and organisational skills that create a supportive and safe learning environment.
• Understand the importance of developing positive relationships with children, staff and parents and can demonstrate evidence of such actions.


Qualifications Required

• Relevant Early Childhood qualification.
• Accreditation to Teach Religious Education.
• Current TRBWA and a Working with Children registration.
