Team Lead Deliveries & Warehousing - Urgent Hire

With an ever-growing inventory of event hire equipment, Event Artillery is seeking a motivated and energetic Operations Manager to assist with its event operations. The role is hands on, fast paced and highly rewarding. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to go from desk duties to warehouse and delivery management. 

About the role:

• Prepare weekly delivery schedules in conjunction with sales team, including hiring vehicles where required
• Prepare staff rosters based on delivery schedules, including hire of contract labour and vehicles where required.                                                
• Monitor all deliveries and collections, ensuring staff adhere to scheduled delivery/collection times
• Support delivery drivers on deliveries as required
• Problem solving on-site, attendance on large jobs.
• Support warehouse manager as required, including, but not limited to: –               - Picking hire equipment  
            - Loading/unloading truck
            - Repairing hire equipment
• Recruit and train new delivery drivers
• Assist with product maintenance / production (handyman skills acceptable) 
• Promote best practice throughout the business, from warehousing to on-site delivery
• Varied working hours on weekdays, weekends, evenings and public holidays.

Your skills & experience:

• Experience in scheduling and rostering
• Experience overseeing a small team
• Experience in warehousing /events is desirable but not necessary
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word and familiarity with cloud-based software
• Forklift licence
• Manual driver’s licence
• MR/HR truck license (not essential) 
• Highly organised-Attention to detail-Physically fit

• Be confident under pressure with a capacity to deal effectively with multiple tasks and competing deadlines as well as problem solving. 

The role is based at our HQ in Malaga. Hours are predominantly Monday–Saturday, however as a 24/7 events business this can vary throughout the year.
