The Opportunity

Our Distribution and Service Centre is looking for a Team Leader in our Processing and Logistics team based in Wingfield, SA.  As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

Our Team Leaders play a vital role in our production environment. They are responsible for coordinating accurate loading activities in accordance with safety requirements and the transport schedule.

This role works on day shift. When you join our team, we also offer access to our Employee Assistance provider and other health and well-being programs.

What Will You Do?

This diverse role will offer you variety each day, providing you with scope to showcase your skills that impacts the safety of our people as well as the quality of our products, you will be:

• supporting the Shift Supervisor to ensure safe work behaviours of the team including the use of mobile equipment, cranes and the loading of product for transit
• facilitating the effective organisation of labour and equipment to meet the daily loading priorities
• ensuring accurate picking, loading and recording of product to be delivered
• keeping clear and timely communication to key internal and external teams
• supervising the operational activities and striving for business improvements and manufacturing excellence
