Team Leader - NDIS Support Worker

Requirements of the role:

• Part Time Permanant Position
• General Support Worker shifts including Daily Living, Transport, Domestic Duties, PBSP, Personal Care. Youth Work
• Supporting stakeholder meetings and team training
• Understanding rehabilitation and capacity building for and with people with a disability;
• The ability to communicate clearly, professionally and respectfully with participants, families, colleagues, other stakeholders;
• Assist with problem solving within your team e.g. rostering concerns;
• Open communication skills and ability to positively influence the team around you
• Join the on call rotating roster Public Holidays, Weekdays & Weekends
• Provide leadership to new and existing team

Requirements of the role:

• Have true empathy & a positive attitude
• Previous Team Leader experience in Disability or Aged Care
• Completing daily shift notes, administration tasks and incident reports
• Supporting the team with escalated enquiries/concerns
• Ability to work a variety of shifts including sleepovers and possible weekends including being called in for shifts
• Paid Administration time provided to complete face-to-face check in with Team & Participants

• QLD Working with Children Card - No Card/No Start
• NDIS Worker Screening Check - No Card/No Start
• Valid and current First Aid and CPR Certification
• Must have a Divers Licence & Comprehensive Car Insurance 
• Must have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module & Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals Module
• Relevant qualifications for the role or interest/currently pursuing relevant study options (Certificate IV Disability, Community Services or similar)
• Hope and Healing Certificate - we can assist with this (Youth Workers)
