We are looking to hire a persistent Team Leader - North Ryde to join our high calibre team at Rise Early Learning in North Ryde, Sydney NSW.

Rise Early Learning is a privately-owned and operated Early Childhood Education and Care service catering for children from birth to six years. We have used our combined personal and professional experience in the sector to design a service which offers spaces for children, families and Educators to develop trusting relationships and foster a sense of community.

About the Role

As Team Leader, you will head up a team of Educators and work collaboratively with them to support the learning of preschool children from four to five years of age. You will benefit from an age-appropriate environment of twenty five children where the RIE approach is embedded into daily practice. The children are included in a daily excursions program and venture into the local community using our very own Rise minibus.

Our ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria:

  • Be inclusive of others and bring a positive attitude every day
  • Ability and motivation to build positive relationships and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community
  • Have a passion for embedding and modelling the RIE approach
  • Be open to our unique way of programming and practice
  • Be ready to implement contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy
  • Be relentless in your pursuit of excellence for children and an enthusiastic and dedicated professional who is willing to grow with our service.

Essential Criteria:

  • Recognised Early Childhood teaching degree (can be Diploma qualified working towards ECT with more than 50% complete and able to prove this)
  • Strong proven Team/Room Leader/Lead Educator experience ideally with a similar age group
  • Valid NSW Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Certificates (or willing to obtain/refresh as required).
