About this Opportunity
Wellways Australia, in partnership with Access Health and Community, is seeking an experienced and passionate Support and Connect Team Leader to provide operational leadership and practice guidance to the peer workforce across the Yarra Ranges and Maroondah Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals. Working flexibly across both organisations, you will play a key role in supporting a growing community-based mental health service that places connection, choice, and recovery at the centre of care.
Drawing on your personal lived experience of mental health challenges and navigating the public mental health system, you will lead, develop, and advocate for the lived experience workforce. You will champion Intentional Peer Support (IPS) principles, contribute to ongoing mental health reform in Victoria, and help create culturally safe, compassionate, and collaborative services that deliver positive outcomes for participants, carers, and the wider community.
