Team Leader - Water Treatment Technician

THE ROLE:

WTS have vacancy for a Water Treatment – Team Leader to join the New South Wales Team. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will lead a team of Water Treatment Technicians, servicing a diverse range of significant industrial clients to manage the continuous growth of our business throughout NSW. In addition, you will be supporting the business development team with the expansion of our customer base. You will have a laboratory team and experts throughout the business to support with technical solutions.

The role is a permanent full-time position, predominantly working Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate’s key duties and responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining customer accounts through sales and service
• Management and development of site-based employees
• Identifying requirements or improvements in treatment and providing practical solutions
• Involvement in attaining new business
• Strong OH&S focus
• Travel throughout NSW will be required

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

The successful candidate will be willing to learn and grow in an expanding company, taking on new challenges. You will also:

• Science based Tertiary qualifications or a related discipline or demonstrated experience in industrial services
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role
• Ability to work independently with strong practical problem-solving skills, particularly in respect to laboratory work, process optimisation and equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• High-level competency in data analysis and preparation of technical reports
• A valid Australian Driver's Licence
• A valid Construction Induction White Card; desirable
