SNAPSHOT OF WHAT YOUR NEW THE ROLE WILL ENTAIL


Provide leadership to and management of the WA broking operations, including, but not limited to:

• Staff engagement, recruitment, performance management and retention,
• Budget management and performance,
• Employee development,
• Business development and/or portfolio management,
• Stakeholder relationships,
• Compliance,
• Process improvement, and
• Reporting.

Provide technical expertise to clients and staff,
Involvement in project teams within the Southern Region and national business,
Representing the business at various industry forums as required.


WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH


Reports to the Eastern States executive team.


VITAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE FOR THE ROLE

• Genuine experience, success and passion in a people leadership role;
• Minimum 5 years broking experience, ideally with exposure to construction insurance, but not essential;
• Tier 1 Broking (essential);
• Diploma in Broking (desirable);
• Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, underwriters, senior management and key stakeholders;
• A strong work ethic, with excellent organisational, communication and time management skills;
• An innate desire to meet and exceed expectations.
