  • Identify and mitigate technical risks across all stages of the opportunity lifecycle

Early Engagement & Design Influence

  • Drive early engagement with consultants, designers, and project stakeholders to influence outcomes

  • Lead Johnson Controls’ input into Basis of Design (BoD), specifications, and technical standards

  • Position Johnson Controls solutions within design frameworks to maximise win probability

  • Maintain pre-RFP visibility and influence project direction before formal procurement

Opportunity & Technical Sales Support

  • Partner with Strategic Account Managers to support major pursuits from early-stage through award

  • Develop compelling technical value propositions aligned to customer needs and commercial strategy

  • Contribute to win strategies including solution positioning, differentiation, and technical storytelling

  • Support preparation of high-quality technical submissions, proposals, and presentations

Market & Domain Expertise

  • Maintain strong technical expertise across data centre infrastructure including cooling, controls, and integration

  • Stay current with industry trends including AI-driven workloads, high-density cooling, and sustainability requirements

  • Translate emerging technologies into practical, customer-relevant solutions

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with engineering, product, sales, and operations teams to align solutions and strategies

  • Support project handover to delivery teams ensuring technical clarity and continuity

  • Work across regional and global teams to ensure consistent technical standards and messaging

Pipeline & Technical Governance

  • Support pipeline development with technically qualified and strategically aligned opportunities

  • Ensure technical accuracy and quality within CRM, proposals, and documentation

  • Maintain compliance with Johnson Controls technical, safety, and governance standards.
