Technical Business Analyst

The client is looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong Data Migration experience. Your new company
Join the Student Management System Transformation program as the technical brain behind our data migration stream. You'll dissect source systems, translate data behaviour into rules the tech team understands, and ensure every record that moves into the new Student Management System lands clean, accurate and accounted for.

Your new role

• Decode source data, define mappings, transformation logic, and data quality thresholds.
• Validate data loads end-to-end: pre-load checks, post-migration verification, reconciliation and exceptions.
• Collaborate across BA, architecture, development, testing and vendor teams to keep ETL activities aligned and on track.
• Analyse data quality dashboards, troubleshoot issues and drive resolutions.
• Maintain tight documentation across technical specs, migration logic and progress reporting.
• Uphold data security, privacy and governance throughout migration cycles.
• Spot gaps, improve processes, and champion automation opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed
Must-Have Technical Depth

• Strong SQL capability, including performance tuning.
• Experience in large-scale, complex data migrations with mixed data quality.
• Hands-on skill with mapping, profiling, cleansing and QA frameworks.
