JOB DESCRIPTION

The Technical Lead will be leading the planning, design, and implementation of ICT systems and solutions for a large hospital redevelopment projects.

• 6 Months Contract (with the view to extend)
• Onsite work - Melbourne City Location

The Technical Lead will be leading the planning, design, and implementation of ICT systems and solutions for a large hospital redevelopment projects.

As a seasoned ICT professional, you will assume the role of Technical Lead in overseeing the successful delivery of multiple Hospital redevelopment projects. Your expertise in stakeholder management and comprehensive Health ICT experience will be pivotal in planning, designing, and implementing various network, infrastructure, and clinical projects across multiple sites.
You will be working collaboratively with internal ICT teams, external vendors, consultants, and stakeholders, you will ensure adherence to delivery standards, policies, and processes while monitoring program and project performance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, design, and implementation of ICT systems and solutions for Hospital redevelopment projects across VIC, NSW, and QLD, ensuring alignment with strategies and specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship, representing the program for technical and change review board endorsements.
• Contribute to ICT Specifications, ensuring accuracy and consistency across Infrastructure, Security, Applications, and Architect teams.
• Manage project delivery in accordance with standard practices, reducing project-related risks and costs.
• Maintain effective stakeholder relationships, providing regular updates on project progress to stakeholders and business owners.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity team to ensure effective security measures and compliance with industry standards.
• Document ICT system configurations, diagrams, and procedures accurately.
• Participate in Commissioning and User Acceptance Testing exercises, ensuring ICT systems are fit for purpose.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant industry certifications.
• Experience working as as an Senior Infrastructure Engineer, Technical lead, or Systems Engineer focusing on network design, applications, integration, implementation, and security.
• Understanding of Network Infrastructure, Clinical Applications, and Systems.
• Technical experience within a Hospital setting.
• Experience with Network Infrastructure LAN/WAN/WiFi
• Experience with NBN, DAS / IBC, Telecommunications Systems (e.g., Cisco Call Manager / PABX)
• Experience with Clinical Systems, Applications, and Protocols, EMR
• Experience with Desktop or End User Computing
• Experience AV systems and SIM systems
• Server and storage environments (incl Virtual)
• Experience with Cloud and Cybersecurity
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence stakeholders to achieve program objectives.

Contract Rate: $800-$900 per Day (incl. super)
