Shifts: 

Early Morning Shift: Monday to Friday (approx. 3am-5am start)
Day Shift (approx. 6am – 8am start)
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Friday (approx. 2pm - 4pm start)

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Operator to join our dynamic team at a food manufacturing facility near Huntingwood. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our production equipment, maintaining high standards of safety and quality, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Working with fillers, laminators, ovens, mixers and other site machinery.
• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly, minimizing impact on production schedules.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
• Assist in the implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality.
• Document operational activities and maintenance procedures accurately.
• Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Technical Operator or similar role in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Basic understanding of computer systems and software related to production operations.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime if required.
