POSITION SUMMARY:
The
Technical Regional Manager is responsible for day-to-day activities
related to the development and execution of the PSC`s business
operations management. This person can identify, motivate, retain, involve, and
coach employees. The incumbent is also responsible and accountable for the
execution of the PSC mission, “to maintain the integrity and professionalism of
our products and services while enabling steady growth and development”.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assess
industry business trends to capitalise on emerging opportunities for business
growth, work closely with Managing Director to identify and develop future
consulting projects business opportunities.
- Hire,
train, mentor and manage performance of direct reports including interns,
subcontractors, and employees.
- Provide crossing training for employees to
produce maximum flexibility for accomplishing work.
- Solicit
business for PSC Biotech for professional services and PSC Software.
- In
collaboration with Managing Director, develop effective proposals for new
business
- Ensure
proposals account for items commonly overlooked, such as travel time, project
management. Off-site and pre-site visit hours, and equipment rentals, as
applicable.
- Maintains documentation of sales
activities in CRM, in order to facilitate the appropriate
reporting of client contacts, notes, opportunities, and sales pipeline.
- Work
on billable projects performing tasks such as project management, project
execution, equipment & process validation.
- Maintain
PSC profitability of billable projects.
- Provide
technical expertise to PSC co-workers and client projects.
- Support
the growth and development of PSC Australia and local Victoria Region.
- Collaboration
with PSC co-workers and client personnel contributing to the development of
future consulting business opportunities.
- Establishing
and maintaining relationships with potential clients in the life sciences
community to develop new business opportunities for PSC.
- Attend
local, national and international professional events such as ISPE, PDA, RAPS,
ASQ, BIO, etc. to promote PSC Biotech, PSC Software and Biotechnique to capture
business and build relationships.
- Ability
to travel up to 25%; travel may include client locations local or throughout
the Australia, PSC Philippines & the PSC Singapore office.
