EnerMech is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Technical Sales Manager – Process & Pipeline Solutions to support the continued growth of our Australian operations.
This role is focused on driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and developing strong client relationships across the energy, oil & gas, resources, and industrial sectors. While experience across both pipeline and process services is essential, the primary focus of this role will be on the process side of the business.
The successful candidate will bring a strong combination of technical sales capability, commercial awareness, and operational understanding to identify opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and convert opportunities into successful project delivery.
Requirements
You will play a key role in growing EnerMech’s Process & Pipeline Solutions business across Australia. You will work closely with operations, engineering, and QHSE teams to deliver technically compliant and commercially competitive solutions that meet client requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with proven technical sales experience and a strong understanding of process and pipeline operations within the energy and industrial sectors.
Key Accountabilities
Deliver revenue and margin targets across the Process & Pipeline Solutions business
Grow market share through new client acquisition and expansion of existing accounts
Maintain a strong and accurate sales pipeline with clear forecasting
Develop technically compliant and commercially competitive proposals aligned with company standards
Drive conversion of opportunities into awarded work
Build and maintain strong client relationships that generate repeat business and long-term partnerships
Ensure smooth handover from sales to operations for successful project delivery
Support effective commercial management including invoicing and aged debt reduction
Ensure compliance with all QHSE, operational, and company policies
Contribute to business growth strategies and market development initiatives
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives
Identify, pursue, and convert opportunities across process and pipeline services, with a strong emphasis on process solutions
Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals including pricing, scope definition, and risk assessment
Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, and QHSE teams to develop integrated solutions
Conduct regular client engagement activities to strengthen relationships and identify growth opportunities
Support tendering activities including bid/no-bid evaluations and commercial strategy development
Monitor project execution post-award to ensure client satisfaction and identify additional opportunities
Maintain accurate sales reporting, forecasting, and CRM activities
Represent the business at client meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities
Maintain current knowledge of industry standards, market trends, and emerging technologies

Proven experience in technical sales within process and pipeline services
Strong understanding of process operations, shutdowns, commissioning, maintenance, or associated services
Exposure to pipeline services and operations within the oil & gas or energy sector
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and drive business growth
