Technical Support Engineer - Construction Products (REF1050)

Global Company Technical Role Great Career Path $100k package. This multi-billion dollar international business supplies to landmark Australian infrastructure construction projects. They are an innovative business that channels a significant portion of their revenue into research and development. Continued growth has led to the need for a new Technical Support Engineer. This is a fantastic technical support role, not a sales role.  Your background: Engineering or technical qualification preferred. While Civil or Structural qualifications are preferred, other engineering degrees and technical qualifications can definitely be considered Experience with large infrastructure projects related to tunnelling, mining or road would be a bonus Construction site experience is preferred, but not mandatory. You may come from technical support role, that required you to effectively liaise with construction site personnel Your role: Be a key technical support contact for clients (Senior Project Engineers, Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Sustainability people, Designers/consultants, Contractors, industry bodies e.g Engineers Australia Support the technical sales and key account management team. Help them implement the strategy of providing the right products from a technical perspective to meet client project requirements Apply understanding of the company’s manufacturing design process and recommend and advise of changes required (both internally and with clients) to help meet client needs Write technical reports (both internally and with clients). These would include aspects such as product technical performance and confirmation of client needs.
