Technical Writer - Get Hired Fast

Position Overview:

Join the dynamic team at Comply HQ, located in the heart of South Perth, and take on the role of Technical Writer. As a pivotal member of our Project Management Team, you'll embark on an exciting journey supporting major construction projects and refurbishments within the Defence sector. Your role will be to craft Project Operational & Maintenance Manuals, ensuring compliance with Defence guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Focusing on the key documentation for project start-ups & hand overs

• Produce Operational & Maintenance Manuals for projects, liaising with the internal Project Management Team to collect required documentation to complete
• Coordinate RFIs with relevant parties e.g. Project Managers, subcontractors
• Produce Maintenance Plans and Procedures for DLP period maintenance
• Support the contract closeout process by reviewing final documentation

Requirements:

• A passion for technical writing in building services e.g. mechanical, electrical, hydraulics
• Relevant construction industry experience
• Strong ability with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, and Excel to achieve success
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
• Organisational skill to run with multiple projects
• (Desirable) Ability to Produce Environmental Management Plans (EMP) for construction
•  Australia citizenship and ability to obtain Security Clearance
